Decontamination misting shower for cleanroom personnel with glass doors and stainless steel enclosure

Decontamination Misting Shower

The decontamination misting shower is designed for personnel working in pharmaceutical and biotech cleanrooms, safely binding pharmaceutical dusts to clothing before personnel leave controlled areas.

Effective cleaning and rapid assistance: The Misting Shower decontamination unit is a complete, ready-to-connect unit for your cleanroom. Misting with treated water reliably binds critical pharmaceutical dusts to clothing.

The shower comes complete with a control unit. 28 nozzles ensure optimal misting until a visual and audible signal indicates the end of the decontamination process and the doors unlock. You can optionally expand the decontamination shower’s features, for example with lighting, a collection tray, an emergency shower function, and a pump to increase water pressure.

How the System Works

The decontamination misting shower provides a controlled method for reducing the risk of personnel carrying pharmaceutical dust from one area to another. During the decontamination process, treated water is distributed through 28 nozzles to bind critical dust particles to the wearer’s protective clothing.

The integrated control system manages the misting cycle and provides visual and audible signals to indicate when the process is complete. The doors remain controlled by an electric locking system during operation and unlock at the end of the decontamination cycle.

The system is supplied as a complete, ready-to-connect unit, helping simplify integration into new or existing cleanroom facilities. Optional equipment allows the misting shower to be adapted to specific facility requirements, including lighting, a collection tray, an emergency shower function and a pump for applications requiring increased water pressure.

For applications requiring particle removal with high-velocity filtered air rather than water mist, explore our personal air showers for cleanroom personnel.
