Personal air showers help personnel enter cleanroom environments while reducing the transfer of particles into controlled areas. The unit operates in recirculation mode: To clean people, air is blown horizontally at high speed through four nozzle arrays. The end of the adjustable process is indicated by a visual and audible signal, and the doors are unlocked.
Our tip: The additional ionization device increases the effectiveness of the cleaning process. This significantly reduces the time spent in the personal air shower.

How the Cleaning Process Works
The system provides a controlled cleaning process before personnel enter sensitive cleanroom areas. The system operates in recirculation mode, using high-speed horizontal airflow from four nozzle arrays to remove particles from cleanroom garments. The cleaning cycle is adjustable to accommodate the requirements of the facility and application.
During operation, personnel remain inside the unit while the cleaning cycle takes place. A visual and audible signal indicates when the process has been completed, after which the doors are unlocked. An optional ionization device can be added to increase the effectiveness of the cleaning process and reduce the amount of time required inside the air shower.
The system includes an integrated H14 HEPA filter, with optional pre-filtration available for the recirculated air stream. Multiple units can also be coupled together, providing flexibility when configuring personnel access for different cleanroom layouts and operating requirements.
As a plug-and-play cleanroom solution, the personal air shower provides a practical way to incorporate personnel particle control into new or existing controlled environments.
